Yorkshire Day with Servaclean: Celebrating 36 Years of Excellence

Happy Yorkshire Day! As we celebrate this special day, we’re also thrilled to commemorate Servaclean’s 36th birthday. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with many outstanding businesses across Yorkshire. In this blog post, we highlight five of our most memorable projects in the region, showcasing our expertise and commitment to quality.

1. Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre, Masham

Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre (2018)

In 2018, we were delighted to contribute to the installing of a new bar at the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre in Masham. As the Official Brewery Sponsor of The Tour de Yorkshire in 2018, Black Sheep Brewery wanted a bar that could handle the demands of the busy events while maintaining the quality they are known for.

Our Servaclean Bar System proved to be the perfect solution, ensuring efficient service and enhancing the overall experience for visitors. A pint of Black Sheep beer served from our bar system was a true Yorkshire ‘Tour De Force,’ making the Tour de Yorkshire even more enjoyable for fans and participants alike.

Jigger & Jar, Garforth (2019)

2. Jigger & Jar, Garforth

In 2019, we had the pleasure of supporting Jigger & Jar, an independent cocktail and wine bar in Garforth, Leeds. Transforming the former Stephen Pressley Hair Design into a bustling high street venue, Jigger & Jar offers everything from hot drinks to cocktails, serving the local community with style and flair.

Our involvement included providing a bespoke stainless steel bar system that perfectly complemented their reclaimed timber bar front. This installation not only enhances efficiency but also adds a touch of sophistication to the bar’s ambiance. As owner Dan Gore noted, our team’s dedication and expertise were instrumental in bringing their vision to life, ensuring the bar operates smoothly and meets customer expectations.

3. Capri at the Containers, Stourton

Capri at the Containers (2022)

Wakefield-based The Capri Group expanded its presence with the opening of Capri at the Containers in Stourton, near Leeds, in 2022. Owned and operated by Paymen Karimi and his family, the new site features three distinct floors, each offering a unique dining and social experience. From a ground-floor café serving breakfast and lunch to a rooftop bar perfect for evening cocktails and live music, the venue is designed to cater to a wide range of customers.

Servaclean played a crucial role in this project, designing, manufacturing, and installing two underbar systems for the ground floor café bar and the rooftop bar. These systems, featuring our Cocktail Stations and In Servery Glasswash Stations, ensure seamless operations and an elevated customer experience. Working closely with Rob Knowles and interior designer Paul Schofield, we delivered a setup that aligns perfectly with the Capri Group’s vision for this vibrant new venue.

Cut & Craft (2023)

4. Cut & Craft, Leeds

In the heart of Leeds’ Victoria Quarter, the stunning Cut & Craft venue opened its doors, and we were thrilled to be a part of this project. Known for their award-winning steakhouse in York the owners, Oscar Akgul and Osman Dogan, brought their vision to Leeds investing significantly in the venture.

Servaclean designed, manufactured, and installed two stainless steel bar counters – a Circular Ground Floor Bar and a First Floor Bar Counter. These installations not only complement the venue’s aesthetic but also ensure efficient service and a premium experience for guests. Our collaboration with several key partners resulted in a successful project that highlights our commitment to quality and innovation.

5. The Boathouse Inn, Saltaire

The Boathouse Inn (2009-2023)

The Boathouse Inn in Saltaire has been a community favourite since its opening in 2009 and we’ve been privileged to work with them ever since.
Following the Boxing Day floods in 2015, we provided our Reconditioning Service, restoring the bar to its former glory.

Our latest collaboration involved a significant refurbishment in 2023 where we, once again, reconditioned and upgraded their Servaclean bar layout, adding a coffee serving area and improving overall functionality. Our durable stainless steel bar system ensured the Boathouse Inn was back in business quickly, offering an enhanced experience to its customers.
